I got into Physiotherapy because:

My athletic background led me to working with a physiotherapist through many of my own injuries. It was their ability to rehab me physically as well as teach me the amazing whole body connection that comes with injury prevention and recovery that made me want to pursue physiotherapy.

I have a special interest in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy because:

I have always been fascinated by the body’s ability to reproduce and grow little human beings and I have learned that this often comes at a cost to our bodies. It is common for pelvic dysfunction to not only lead to physical changes, but it can also have a negative psychological impact. Pelvic floor sessions can make an individual feel vulnerable and I believe my empathetic and gentle nature has allowed me to build strong connections with my clients. I love the life-changing results that can be achieved. Educating individuals about this is an important, yet less-talked about area of physiotherapy.

Most days you can find me:

Outdoors hiking and exploring new trails throughout BC, cycling, downhill and x-country skiing, and doing virtual pilates.

When I’m not outdoors I have be found watching:

The Office!!

My bucket list includes:

Camping overnight at the bottom of the Grand Canyon

I think everyone should try to:

At least once, spend 24 hours with no technology
